Culinary Description

The leaves of Rice Paddy Herb have a pleasant taste, with hints of coriander, cumin and lemon.The unique flavour enhances both sweet and sour dishes. The leaves, can be finely chopped, and used as a non-cooked garnish over rice and many traditional Vietnamese and Cambodian dishes. Young stems and leaves can be steamed and eaten as a spinach.

Used in traditional medicines for it's antimicrobial, antioxidant and vascular protective properties.
